"Quien Fuera" is an expression that could be translated as I would like to be, even though in the original Spanish it may seen to designate anyone, in the lyrics it clearly appears as a personal call. It certainty is personal and insightful as the whole song, quality that has grant it an special place in the hispanic music. This song by the Cuban musician, composer, and troubadour Silvio Rodríguez takes part of his ninth studio album called Silvio, the first of the Silvio, Rodríguez and Domínguez trilogy, released in the early 1990s. It was also the ninth song of the concert held on September 28th, 2018, at the Martí Theater in Havana, Cuba.
